CryptoCompare API key

Optional aggregate social score for supported coins.

Recommended Optional. Adds Tier 2 depth on the full breakout band.

Settings field: CRYPTOCOMPARE_API_KEY · Expected format: cryptocompare_... or key from CCData portal

Paste the key in Settings → BYOK, click Save keys, and wait for Connected (or Saved for keys that are not probed from the browser).

CoinDesk Data (formerly CryptoCompare/CCData) retired its free API tier on May 21, 2026. Paid access is sold via custom subscription quotes.

How to get the key

  1. Sign up for a CryptoCompare / CCData developer account.
  2. Create an API key in the developer portal.
  3. Paste it into Settings → BYOK and save.
