How the daily pipeline works (Tier 1 vs Tier 2)

How Kvantrank scans roughly 200 mid-cap coins each UTC day, which API keys power Tier 1 vs Tier 2, and what happens when a feed is missing.

Two-step daily scan. Every UTC day Kvantrank scores roughly 200 mid-cap coins (CoinGecko ranks 51-200). Tier 1 market data runs on your CoinGecko key (free Demo plan works). A few supplemental context feeds (for example CoinGecko trending, market sentiment, and similar) still run without extra keys from you.

Tier 2 adds Reddit, YouTube, Google Trends, news, and related social feeds on the full breakout band (~150 coins, ranks 51-200 minus stablecoins). Your other Essential keys power Tier 2 on your vendor quotas. Budget guards trim hottest-first when quotas are low; missing keys do not stop the run.

Configure Essential and Recommended keys in Settings → BYOK. See the BYOK overview for per-provider setup steps.

Third-party API terms, quotas, and pricing change over time; confirm current limits on each provider's site before production use.
